We built visorboard after working with 100s of startups and identifying a path to increasing successful outcomes.
We built visorboard after supporting 100s of startups through Revise Ventures. We saw that giving startups more regular, on-demand access to industry experts had a positive correlation to startup success (and how quickly they achieved that success).
After seeing such significant success in our ability to improve the performance of our portfolio companies, we turned our system into visorboard: a product & larger network of advisors that is now available for any company to subscribe to.
visorboard is owned and operated by a group of ex-founders from San Francisco and Toronto, led by founder Robbie Goldfarb. And we eat our own dogfood; aside from our founders and a small engineering team, our company is entirely operated through advisors and freelancers on visorboard.
We have strict recruitment criteria for visorboard advisors. All our advisors have at least 10 years of experience in their area, have operated in both small startups and larger operations, and gone through our extensive training programs.
